The first notable thing about this hotel was my check-in experience. The room was beautiful and spacious. Toiletries were by Molton Brown and very nice! The bed was one of the most comfortable I can remember sleeping in - king size with superb soft but supportive pillows. What really impressed me more than anything was the quality of service and friendly staff at the Taj. I'm a photographer, and was also able to arrange a visit to the amazing Maharaja Suite on one of the upper floors to take some unique views over the city.

I was in Dubai for a 3 day business trip with meetings mostly in Business Bay and downtown area. I find Taj the best hotel in the area with an excellent location, warm and friendly staff, super sized rooms with just great overall service. The team overall is just excellent - and always very welcoming. In the evenings if you venture out perhaps to the Dubai Mall there is a shuttle service every hour on the hour. Overall I would say one of best hotels in Dubai for a reasonable price.
